World Domination

Take Over The WorldYesterday I met one of my friends at a local bar.  I chose this bar because of the ambiance, location and they have great fried mushrooms and Margherita pizza.

I also wanted to provide my friend, who is struggling financially, an opportunity to change his situation if he so desired.  His current job is not providing him the income that he desires to support his family.

For anyone who has been reading my blog for any length of time knows that I possess a world domination mentality.  I want to wake up each morning and much like Pinky and The Brain want to takeover the world.

Pinky and The Brain are  genetically enhanced lab mice who reside in a cage in the Acme Labs research facility.  In each episode, Brain devises a new plan for the two mice (led by Brain) to take over the world, which ultimately ends in failure.  “The ultimately ends in failure” is the part that I don’t find too appealing.  However, it’s still entertaining to say the least because The Brain shoots for the moon every single day.

Well back to my story.  So I meet this friend to tell him some fabulous opportunities that I am engaged in online in niche markets.  I tell him how he can do the same thing too.  I tell him how these niche sites can produce him a 5-figure paycheck each month inside of one year with some work.   I even offered to train him and to show him the ropes so that he could eliminate his money woes forever.

I also told him that before I decided to train him that he would have to read one book by Felix Dennis entitled How To Get Rich.  I’ve mentioned this book in a previous post.  Once he read this book and got his mind right then I’d agree to share with him everything that I know about creating these niche websites and generating money on autopilot. (free of charge).

The Results Of “The Meeting”

A complete flop.  I was $80 poorer.  I lost time that I cannot recover.  He argued for his limitations.  He doubted what I was saying.  He asked me where could he buy the book? Duh!  How many different methods can you buy books these days?  If anyone was serious about reading a book that came highly recommended wouldn’t they do anything necessary to get their hands on that book?  I think so.  As I’m writing this blog post I get a text from this same friend telling me that he can only text until Thursday because he’s out of minutes. (no kidding)

What I Was Reminded Of…

Those that are truly seeking to change their current situation will find away.  It doesn’t matter how many opportunities exist the majority of people just will not see it.  You can’t save others but you can save yourself and hope that one of those people will recognize success in you and begin to ask questions.  People are where they are because they choose to be there regardless of what lies come out of their mouth.  You can doubt people’s words but their actions will never lie to you.

Pinky: “Gee Rickey, what do you want to do today?”
Rickey: “The same thing we do every night, Pinky—try to take over the world!”

That’s my spin on it.
