Listed below are three questions I’d like for you to ponder.
- Is there anything real that exists in the world?
- Is there anything in the world that has meaning?
- Who are you and who decides what you get to experience?
I’ll answer these questions from perspective and I trust that you will go inside and answer these questions for yourself.
My answer to question #1
Nothing in the world is real. The world is a made up construct of my own mind. It’s an illusion. I can see what is happening around me but it’s not real. I see things and then I process it in a totally different way than everyone else. For example, when I’m stuck in traffic that is what’s happening but it’s not real. I feel irritated and annoyed and I immediately seek an alternate path. I ask myself how others do this traffic thing day in and day out. Other people are not experiencing being stuck in traffic the way that I am so it can’t be real else we’d all be processing it the same way. At any given time I can choose to process an event in any manner that I choose. I’m always at choice with how I choose to experience things but rarely get to choose what actually happens.
My answer to question #2
Nothing in the world inherently has meaning unless I give it meaning. I can decide that death means nothing to me. I can decide that death is very important to me. I can decide that contemplating death teaches me about life. I can decide that living life to the fullest makes me look forward to death.
My answer to question #3
I Am a part of All That Is. I Am a cup of God. I Am what God is doing. I Am divine. I Am eternal. From moment to moment I get to choose what I experience. What I experience has nothing to do what is going on around me. I get to input the data and instructions into what and how I choose to experience anything. I was given that much power. I was given dominion over all things because all things start in the mind.
That’s my spin on it.
