When there’s a hole you can never feel whole by pursuing something external to yourself. Many a man/woman has tried. The tabloids are replete with people who have all the trinkets that a man/woman could desire yet that still don’t feel whole.

In fact, for many the hole was gaping so wide that they just couldn’t bare their hole-less-ness existence anymore so they ended their lives.

Drugs, spirits, cars, boats, houses, sex, girls, boys, degrees, titles, positions offer themselves up as panaceas. They promise you that they can fill the hole and do a very convincing job I might say.  They lure you into believing they are your trump card.

You have not prepared yourself for the fall you will experience once you discover they are not the path to your wholeness.

You are deluding yourself  into believing they are the answer. They would not tell you the only place you need to look is inside of you. They don’t tell you this for two reasons.  First, they don’t know to tell you.  Second, it’s not their job to point you to your power.  It is their job to lead you down the rabbit trail again and again.

I’m on a first name basis with a couple of the culprits, women and booze.  I’ve allowed myself to be deceived time and time again.  I’m not angry with them or myself.  You wouldn’t get angry if you bought a dog and he started barking would you?  Dogs bark, that’s just what they do.  I just realized that if I’m ever going to be all that I can be that it will not be because I am a player or learned how to hold my liquor.

You can’t FEEL whole until you FILL the hole. But how do you find the hole?  What characteristics allow you to identify the hole?  Is there more than one hole?  If you get rid of the hole is there any assurance that the hole will not reappear?  Were we born with these holes? 

Actually there is one simple answer to all of the above questions.  Are you ready for it?

There is no hole!

The hole is illusionary.  The hole is a figment of your imagination.  The hole is made up.  This is why you can never fill it…it’s not there.  The only place you can go to discover there is no hole is inside of yourself.  That’s right, wholeness exists inside of you where it has always been.

Again let me repeat and shout it from the mountain top.

THERE IS NO HOLE!

YOU’RE ALREADY WHOLE!

You’ve bought into the illusion and deceived yourself into believing that there’s something missing.  You are perfect just the way you are.  The things that you believe are your shortcomings are your gifts.  Therefore seek not to fill the hole instead seek to discover the gift.  When you’re finally able to see the gift in all of your proverbial holes you will experience what I call spontaneous illumination.

When you discover the gift(s) you will render powerless all those things you use to use to try and fill the hole(s).
