Back Seat and CD Changer

by rbenns on October 21, 2009

Your WorldIs there a direct correlation between how much money you earn and how much time you invest in cultivating your mind?  A professor once told me  that the market will never pay you more than you’re worth.  Thus if you’re earning 30k a year that’s all the value that you are bringing to the market….nothing more and nothing less.   Intrinsically there is no amount of money that can measure a human beings true worth.  However, what you produce on this planet can certainly be measured.

If you sit around every night watching television or your drive time is filled with the sound of a radio disc jockey you don’t stand a chance of ever producing something extraordinary.  Yes, I said it.  No one can help you if you fill your mind up every day of the week with such garbage.  This type of programming is geared to keep you broke and your mind imprisoned.

Let me give you a clue on how you can tell if you’re possibly headed in the “right” direction.  Look in your backseat and CD changer and see what you find.  This is often a good indicator of what you satiate your mind with on a daily basis.

In my back seat or CD Changer as I pen this post here is what you will find:

  • Infinite Possibilities – The Are of Living Your Dreams by Mike Dooley
  • The 10k Per Month Attraction Marketing Blueprint by Cedrick Harris
  • Get It – The Complete Guide To Becoming The Ultimate You by Brett Figueroa
  • Busting Loose from the Business Game by Robert Scheinfeld
  • Man Transformation – Time Management and Productivity Secrets for Massive Success by David DeAngelo
  • How To Get Rich by Felix Dennis
  • The Heart of Truth by Neale Donald Walsch
  • Masters of Direct Marketing Teleseminar Series by Jeff Paul and Jim Fleck
  • Masters of Internet Marketing Teleseminar Series by Jeff Paul and Jim Fleck
  • The Talent Code by Daniel Coyle

And yes I will read every book and listen to every CD.  I will implement the things that resonate with me.  The energy alone that exists in these books and CDs is worth it just to have them in my car.  So what’s in your car?  Are the things that are in your car getting you to where you say you want to go?  Are they providing the quality of life you say you wish to experience?  If your car is empty is that a metaphor for your life?  Is this personal development and human potential just a bunch of hogwash?

You are where you are financially because you choose to be there no matter what lies you tell yourself.  I have to hit myself over the head every now and then to remind me that I am not doing everything I know to do to live the quality of life that I deserve.  There’s something to this personal development.  It’s like an oyster that eventually becomes a pearl.

Did you know in the Phillipines that its quite embarrassing if you don’t have a Bachelor’s degree?  I’m not suggesting that everyone should go to college but I am saying that everyone should definitely become more educated.  There’s something sexy and attractive about being educated.  When’s the last time you’ve picked up a book that was non-fiction?  Have you ever purchased a CD series on personal development?

It’s no secret that CANEI – Constant And Never Ending Improvement is directly tied to how much money you currently earn.  There are no limits.  Your only limits are self-imposed and I’ve just given you a way to break free and discover the real you.  Expand your mind and your money will follow as day does to night.

That’s my spin on it
