One day I received an invoice from a contractor and it read My Father’s Business. I thought to myself what a strange name. Why would anyone name their business such an odd name? It was odd to me because at that time I lacked the understanding and meaning that the chosen name implied.
It was not until many months later that I got it. In fact, when I did get it, it hit me like a ton of bricks. How could I have been so naive?
The Father’s Business
…….is the only game in town. It’s the only business worth building.
My interpretation of what is meant by My Father’s Business is our consciousness. Now, I’m also fairly sure the contractor will not describe it in exactly the same way. Nevertheless, here’s my spin on it.
What exactly is being about the Father’s Business? The Father’s Business has nothing to do with the external conditions of the world. It is recession proof. In fact, it knows nothing of a recession. The Father’s Business knows no lack. It knows only extreme abundance.
There is no out there…out there
The Father’s Business is not out there in the world. The Father’s Business
will put to shame the most cynical person. The Father’s Business has a never-ending depth. The Father’s Business is an inside job.
You may drift wayward but you will always have to come back to the Father’s Business for your salvation, sanity and peace of mind. All the riches that you could ever desire will come to you effortlessly when you are about the Father’s Business. The Father’s Business is never about stress, strain or
struggle. If you find yourself struggling then you are not about the Father’s Business.
What is the Father’s Business? Your Consciousness, your Mind (not your brain), the God in You. Being about the Father’s Business will liberate you.
Seek Ye First…First
Be about those things and all else will be added unto to you. Be about those things and the world you see eternally will be one of eternal bliss regardless of what’s transpiring. Be about those things and you will laugh when
someone asks you about an economic recession.
One thing you can be sure of, if someone is talking, whining, complaining and moaning about the economy then they are not about the Father’s Business. Watch what people complain about because they show you what
they lack. (let this last statement sink deep into your subconscious mind).
I think the contractor knew much more than I did on how to build and construct a phenomenal life here on earth.
