Rickey, SOO many things you have said have made all the difference in the world to me. Don’t let the drift make you disavow one thing that you’ve been cooking for all these lifetimes! Your piece about “You Deserve A Champion”. I carry it in my purse with me- ALWAYS- so that I can slap myself to wake up when I get hypnotized into thinking that I should only accept the man. Hell NO! I have the piece about “I AM what gOd is doing” right in front of me now, scotch taped to the wall, as I am typing this! You just be YOUR champion and allow your greatness- even if someone else doesn’t see it or you don’t get the response right away! You have certainly inspired me to be mine. I’m so happy you’re still out there in the universe somewhere. I can see your slow, low-key smile in my mind and your quiet powerful words, and I remember your enthusiastic willingness to be a house angel for LaRue- the only one!
The best day is today! Its actually great that I didn’t hear from you til now, cuz I’ve now lived with your words for about a year and they are such good and true stakes in the ground for me. Minding my business has been a challenge for me. Not because I’m nosey and meddlesome. My thing is I think I can ‘fix it’. I’m what you would call a ‘handywoman’. Have problem, will fix it. I am learning to allow others their mistakes. I’m starting to look at it different. I now realize that when I step in to ‘fix it’, I hinder their growth. Just the opposite of what I say I want. Thanks for the reminder to mind my own business.

The Mediocrity Principle states….there is nothing special about humans or the Earth. Most of us were brought up by this principle. We were told…ain’t nothing special about you. We were asked….’who do you think you are?’. The Mediocrity Principle was hardwired into our belief system. And because we have yet to re-wire our beliefs, we live mediocre lives. And although we are capable of being, doing and having any and everything we desire, we sit and wait….and wait…and wait….and then we die having lived half-lives.

Marriage in and of itself is neutral. Marriage doesn't create problems people do. The more one tries to not interact with people, the more finds themselves having to do so.

Imagine that you could not make such a statement about kids if your parents had felt the same way that you do. I still respect your opinion.

When one tries to make themselves immune to life there is no growth. Take a look at the part of the ocean where there is no turbulence. It's deserted, desolate and dead.

“love is nothing more than agreement. If I agree with you, you love me.” That's the greatest insight on love IMO. I don't believe in marriage at all so I guess it saves me all the troubles of it. On top of that I hate kids! In fact I don't even like people, so I think I'm immune to all those troubles that 99% people in this world are facing. I think people are just looking for troubles to get involved in any type of human relationship at all, except parents/siblings etc. because no choice. To me, die alone is the best option.

Let's see if I understand you correctly. You're saying that what I want is what I already have? And if there is something that I say I want and I don't have it…it ain't what I want? Hmmmmm. This is certainly 'food for thought'. I could not agree more. There is nothing, ABSOLUTELY nothing outside of who I am. Therefore, I must be (and possess) EVERYTHING. Perhaps the key to it all is realizing that I AM IT ALL awwwwwready!!!!! Besides the wanting of a thing, just keeps me wanting.

A woman was being robbed and there were many bystanders along the way that witnessed the incident. After the incident was over a reporter came by asked several of the witnesses "Why didn't you help the woman in distress?" and each one replied with very similar statements "I thought he or she was going to help her."

Everybody was waiting on somebody else and in the meantime the woman was robbed.

Recently someone told me (actually several) that I was running from my greatness. When you are told at a greatness gathering that your not stepping into your greatness you might want to pay attention. I couldn't agree more.

I'm capable of doing and being so much more than I'm being. Let me go on the record and say that "I love Tyler Perry" but I don't like his films. His films are at best funny and at worst forgettable to me.

Again, I understand AND respect your thoughts on the matter. I could not agree more with what you are saying about some types of entertainment. I don't watch much TV, so I can not speak on the shows you mentioned. However, given the titles to some of them, I can only imagine the content. You ask, 'why would Tyler Perry change'. My answer, because change is inevitable. Nothing or no one remains the same. As I mentioned before, as we rise as individuals, we will rise as a people. Until we realize that we are royalty, we will continue to act as peasants. Perry's movies are but a stepping stone just as the 'chitlin circuit' was in it's day. Change is not coming….change in already here. We only have to step into it.

Which came first the chicken or the egg? Does Tyler Perry start to make the films first and then we go and see them or do we demand a different type of film and Tyler Perry rises to the occasion or watch his films flop at the box office?

Too long we have been waiting for change instead of being the orchestrator of change. Too long we have been waiting for the master to decide our fate before we would make a move. We sit by passively and say "one day" and that day never comes.

Once they(Hollywood) know that they can get away with it we are bombarded with an onslaught of pure and unadulterated garbage.
