Is it possible for the negative energy and thoughts of another to influence your world? I believe the answer is “yes” and I will seek to provide some information in this post for you to ponder.
Each month I use a service called 
to process payments that are due. These payments are for the owner finance notes that I hold on my properties. Since I’ve been using this service each month, like clock work, I have a relatively large sum of money flow into my account. Also, because this service has been so reliable I also schedule a large sum of payments to be paid on the first of the month as well.
Well this month the accounts were drafted as normal but the deposits did not make it to my bank account. I called Bank of America to see what the problem was and they told me I needed to contact Green By Phone. I contacted Green By Phone and they told me that Bank of America refused the deposits and told them to try again tomorrow. Keep in mind Bank of America has never refused my deposits before.
I have someone who does the research for my postcards each month that I mail out to expired listings. I pay her $10/hour for 25 hours or $250/month. She gets to do this from the comfort of her home and I never monitor how many hours she works or when she works. I seriously doubt that she ever works more than 25 hours per month.
She’s the kind of person that is very thorough with her work and I appreciate her attention to detail. However, when she’s done she’ll send me an email letting me know she done and if I don’t respond she will turn around and send me a text message. She wants to be paid the instant she finishes. The interesting thing is that when people are on a job and they finish a task they don’t run to their boss and demand to be paid.
She also is the type of person who is quite negative. If you were to read some of my correspondence with her much of it is filled with how someone did her wrong or how unfair life has been. She recently shared with me that her husband’s hours had been recently cut and that money was real tight. I responded by saying we live in an abundant universe and that there’s money all around us if we would just look. Of course she never responded to that comment. She’s what I refer to as a “negative ninny”, a person who always sees the glass of life as half empty rather than half full.
Keep in mind that I’ve always paid her as agreed. I’ve even paid her the same amount when she didn’t do all she was contracted to do. A lot of you may be wondering am I really saying that she caused those deposits not to be deposited as normal. This is exactly what I am saying.
Scientists use to believe that if a particular disease such as diabetes ran in the your family that you would be highly likely to be a recipient of such disease. They use to believe that you were genetically predisposed to diabetes simply because you were the biological offspring of those parents. However, they have since found that an adopted child will also be just as likely to suffer from the disease as the biological child.
This is quite interesting. What they were able to find was that suffering from diseases had more to do with the attitudes, beliefs and thoughts of the family than it did with genetics. Now I believe that the same thing applies to money and the lack of it.
That’s exactly why I didn’t try to change the attitude, belief or thought of this person. I just told her that her services were no longer needed. Next, I visualized my deposits going through easily and effortlessly. As I was writing this post I got a call from Green By Phone letting me know that my deposits went through smoothly. Don’t underestimate the power of visualization and positive thoughts. Don’t underestimate the effectiveness of completely eliminating as quickly as you can people from your life with potty thinking.
Here’s and interesting aside, I was ready to give this lady even more work because I’m involved in a lot of niche businesses. She not only lost a current stream of easy money but she also lost the potential to much, much more.
I don’t change people, I change people and you should too.
