In one way or another each of us are asking ourselves four questions. Many of us ask these questions consciously but most of us ask them unconsciously. Regardless of the way you ask these questions – you will ask these questions.
Who are you?
Where did you come from?
Why are you here (what’s your purpose?)
Where are you going when you leave this place?
The interesting paradox to each of these questions is that they have no definite answer. In other words, the questions are so huge that each time you attempt to answer them you ultimately will leave something out. The best that you can do is come close to an answer that suits you but even then you will know that is not quite it.
Everything you do in life in centered around finding out the answers to these four questions. You interweave it into your daily activities without even knowing you are doing so. Why? Because you are spiritual being having and human experience and its simply what spiritual beings do. Spiritual beings seek to experience all aspects of their divinity.
These questions particularly come to the surface when one or more of the following happens;
- Death
- You or someone you know loses a job
- You or someone you know ends a relationship or gets a divorce
- You or someone you know has a serious health challenge
- An act of nature occurs (hurricane, flood, tsunami, tornado)
- Birth
- Financial Crisis
- Drug Addiction
- Alcoholism
It is in times of our greatest challenges and “tragedies” that we ponder these questions more deeply. It does not have to be this way. You can begin to seek the answers to these questions now. When you get an answer that is satisfactory to your soul you will know it. Once you know it then you must live it in everyday and in everything you do, say and think. It must become a way of life for you.
