I think if you can get this it will serve you well as you meander into the New Year. I’m warning you that it’s simple but not easy. Life is but an illusion. Life is all your perception of it and nothing else. How you see the world is totally dependent upon how you process it and nothing else.
Take a look at the video below. I want you to watch it carefully as the nuances of what I’m about to point out you may not notice if you don’t know to look. Leave your judgmental mind out of it and be open to what I’m about to point out.
Keep this in mind as you watch the video. Money and the way you see it is not real. The only thing that makes it real is how you process the world outside of you. I know what you may be thinking. You’re thinking that if you had been receiving $200,000 royalty checks since you were twelve you’d be comfortable with these types of shopping sprees. I’m here to suggest to you that you have to first know that it’s possible for you to receive the money before it ever has the opportunity to flow your way.
Point # 1 – Michael never looks at prices even after saying celebrities like bargains too. He also assumes that the merchant will bargain with him. He doesn’t ask. He just assumes. Expect success. Expect to increase your income. Expect large sums of money to flow to you. Claim it.
Point #2 – He’s very decisive as he moves through the store knowing exactly what he wants. Know what you want and go get it.
Point #3 – He say’s “the sold sign means it’s for me.” How many times has there being a “sold” sign on something you wanted yet you still didn’t claim it?
Point #4 – You got to make a list. If you don’t make a list of what you want how to you expect to ever get it? You don’t have to know how you’re going to get everything on the list. Just make the damn list. Be sure to check it twice just to make sure you don’t forget. Michael Jackson even had a list so you have no excuses.
Point #5 – If they don’t have what you want then ask them to order it. Just because somethings not on the menu doesn’t mean you can’t get it.
Point #6 – Having room is not a prerequisite for buying what you want. You can always find the space. Don’t create unnecessary roadblocks for yourself.
Point #7 – The reporter Martin Bashir is bewildered by how much Micheal’s spending. Michael is focused on getting what he wants but the reporter is obsessed with adding up how much Michael is spending and how much the merchant is making. He is totally not in the moment and he’s missing the gift of the entire experience. You don’t have to wait to you have millions of dollars to start being in the now. Be present and enjoy the ride.
Point # 8 – The reporter cannot understand why Michael likes to buy very ornate furnishings fit for a king. Michael clears this up in on fell swoop when he simple says “it’s my taste.” After all he is the King Of Pop. What’s your taste and are you apologizing to others for what you like? Everything on this physical earth was put here for you to enjoy.
To sum it all up, learn to say this in 2010 “I want that one…and that one and that one over there too.”
I would estimate that Michael spent about 2.5 million plus in less than 10 minutes. The amazing thing to me was how it was as if he was only spending a couple of hundred bucks. This help to remind me that how I perceive money is only an illusion. It’s very possible for me to see myself going on $50,000 or even $5 million shopping sprees but I’ve got to start to view money in a totally different light. I know that it has nothing to do with how much money I currently have in the bank and more to do with my thinking.
Someone once told me that its as easy to create a castle as it is to create a button on a shirt. It’s all the same energy.
Again I say, get your mind right and the money will follow.
That’s my spin on it.
