I was really inspired by Mark Fisher’s book entitled the Instant Millionaire. I’ve listened to this audio book about a half dozen times but this particular time something really resonated with me.
If you haven’t been exposed to this book I would highly recommend you take a glimpse at it. The book is told as a fable but don’t underestimate the timeless and powerful teachings exposed in the book.
I know the most obvious question you might have if you haven’t read the book is how can you become an instant millionaire? Well it’s very simple. In fact, it so simple you’re going to think I’m joking. You merely decide to be a millionaire. That’s it. You make a decision that you are going to be rich. Do you know most people have decided not to be rich and that’s exactly why they are not rich. You have to be rich in your mind before you will ever see the material possessions of richness.
Rich is not just material possessions either. That’s why the bible says ‘seek ye first the kingdom of heaven and all these things will be added unto you’. The kingdom of heaven is not some place in the sky that you go when you die. The kingdom of heaven is that higher consciousness that resides in each of us.
Many people have had things added unto them that did not seek the kingdom of heaven first and this is precisely why they fill so empty when the material possessions start to arrive. Just look at Hollywood for an infinite number of examples.
So when I say you must decide to be rich I’m talking about spiritually rich. If you come from that place then your riches will not only bring you money and material possessions but also happiness.
In Mark Fisher’s book he defines rich as having at least one million dollar in net assets. This could be a combination of cash on hand, stocks, bonds, real estate holdings etc. Did you know that you can become a millionaire in as little as six years regardless of how much money you earn today? All you have to do is have net assets of $31,250 by the end of the first year and double it each year for six years. These are after tax dollars that I am referring to. See example below.

Year 6 $1,000,000
Not everyone wants to be a millionaire and that’s ok. For those of you who truly want to be a millionaire as I do then just decide that you are going to be a millionaire and then set a specific date as to when that will occur. You don’t have to be concerned about the “cursed how’s” as those are the domain of the universe.
Once you decide the universe will rearrange itself to make it happen for you. You have to be definite with the infinite. However, you must remember to act once you are given the opportunities. These opportunities always show up and they are most often appear in work clothes.
I’ve decided to be a millionaire in three years. I chose three instead of six because I already have substantial real estate holdings. I will be a millionaire by Sunday, July 22, 2012 just before my 50th birthday. I’m already a millionaire in my mind. From this day on I will act and think like a millionaire. This is my gift to God since she has given me so many unannounced gifts. I’ll see you at the top. Let spend our millions together.
