Most of us are judgmental. Being judgmental is just what we do. I know that I am far too guilty of this. We judge so much out of pure ignorance. Well whatever do you mean Rickey?
I’m glad you asked. Judgment generally falls into one of two types. We are either judging ourselves or we’re judging others. Ok..not really there is only one type but we believe that its two. There exists on judgment of self. When we judge others, we are in fact judging ourselves. If I told you that every experience in life was equal would you believe me? If I told you that when you label one experience as good and another one as bad that you have misunderstood the experience would you believe me? Well this is in fact so.
All judgement is separation. You can only judge that which you see separate and apart from yourself. If we’re all one (an undeniable fact) then when you judge another you are in fact judging yourself. Judge not lest ye be judged simply means it is impossible for you to judge another without putting yourself into the picture. You are a disguised version of that which you judge.
If another is doing something that you deem inappropriate, who are you to deprive them of their right to do so? Shouldn’t anyone’s soul be allowed to express itself in anyway it chooses?
There is no exclusion in life. Life is all about inclusion. When you judge good as better than bad it immediately invites bad onto the stage to perform. The universe is always seeking to get back into balance. If someone praises you for your great deeds and puts you on a pedestal then pay close attention because someone will be tearing you down shortly. If one side of the balnce is given value, we birth its opposite as our next reality to be experienced.
We are ever expanding beings. We came here to expand. We came here to experience all emotions. Emotions will always precede wisdom. Judgment is a disguised fear and what we fear we empower. When we empower something it rapidly moves in our direction to be experienced.
The only way to be hurt is to search for happiness outside of yourself. This is another reason why we judge because we truly believe that another has the abilility to bring us harm. We can only do this to ourselves. At anytime we can shift from tragic to magic by embracing and welcoming what is. What is..is and there is nothing that we can do about it. Have you ever seen the water of a river accuse a rock of being in its way? The water gently and merrily flows around the rock and continues along its path.
That’s my spin on it.
