Every thought, word, and deed gets noticed. The Universe has a perfect accounting system. The debits always equal the credits. The pluses must equal the minuses. The universe is always seeking to get itself into balance.
When you utter an unkind word towards another you just created an event. When you are dishonest with someone you just created an event. When you sell drugs you just created an event. When you cheat on your spouse you just created an event. When you don’t help another when you are in a position to do so you just created an event.
An event is something that seeks to produce itself in like kind. It’s not punitive but you may feel like you’re being punished. You are simply getting back something that you consciously or unconsciously put out into the universe.
There’s no way to circumvent this law. You may have heard this referred to as the law of sowing and reaping. The seeds that you plant today will be harvested tomorrow. Said another way if you don’t want to eat corn tomorrow don’t plant it today.
This law is so misunderstood because most think that what they do in private will not someday become public. Many think there is such a thing as secrecy but this is a myth. Someone always sees exactly what you’re doing and that someone is you. The universe has 100% recall. Nothing stays in the dark forever. What’s done in the dark is soon paraded in the light.
Often times what you reap is far worse than what you sowed. Be mindful of both your words and deeds. Endeavor to let the things you do, say and think be of the highest quality.

Although there are times I wish I had not sown that seed, it is comforting in knowing that whatever I put out there, I will receive. There will be no surprises. Now I endeavor to sow only those things I will enjoy reaping. Thanks for sharing your ‘spin on it’.
