Is it possible to create prosperity from the ethers? Catherine Ponder of The Dynamic Laws Of Prosperity says that you don’t have a money problem you have an idea problem.
Dennis Kimbro of What Makes The Great Great says that each year you get at least 4 ideas that if you acted upon only one of them it would be enough to create financial freedom for you.
If the above statements are true then why do so few people create prosperity? I believe it because they are unwilling to leave tribal consciousness. Tribal consciousness is the collective thoughts of the people that you hang around the most. Colleagues, childhood friends,church members and even family members are the culprits. Rather than going as far as we need to go to be around the type of people we choose to be around-we settle.
We settle for less and we subscribe to the tenets of the tribe who are quite honestly-non producers. Even if there’s overwhelming evidence that the tribe is suffering we are hesitant to abandon them because we feel as sense of obligation. There’s also a certain comfort level associated with being with a tribe for a certain length of time that makes it difficult to leave. I refer to this as living in only one room of your thousand room mansion. You’ve literally truncated the world around you to suffering and lack.
No one in the tribe wants you to leave either. They believe that you just might get a handle on this prosperity thing and actually leave the tribe. Now they couldn’t have that happen could they? Who would be there to gossip and watch the latest episode of Desperate Housewives with them?
You can’t have it both ways. You can’t continue to be in the same non producing tribe and expect to experience prosperity consciousness. Tribal consciousness can have its benefits but just not the ones that most of us choose to join. You can never be all you choose to be until you break away from the tribe. Run Forest Run!
